Heidi Marie Private Jeweler + Designer was born from my lifelong passion for designing and creating custom fine jewelry. I remember flipping through Elle magazine in sixth grade, tearing out editorials and ads from renowned jewelers, and pinning them to my wall. That early spark of inspiration led me to explore the arts through painting, drawing, metal sculpture, ceramics, and ultimately, jewelry design.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in fine arts from the University of Iowa and completed the Entrepreneurial Certificate program at the Tippie College of Business.

Over the years, I’ve designed everything from custom engagement rings and wedding bands to earrings, mother’s rings, necklaces, and bracelets. One of my favorite projects is redesigning family heirlooms—transforming cherished pieces into wearable stories. To me, jewelry is more than an object; it’s a way to tell a personal story.
